BUCKS/BERKS DIARY DATES

As in previous years, I've collated a few dates for the diary over the coming year. As can be seen, there is plenty to do this year. And I haven't even put on any Bucks meetings or a Rally. I'm still waiting for some confirmations to come through, but I expect to arrange a couple of evening meetings when the daylight hours get longer, plus a few ride outs to other areas. If you want something added to the list, just mention it below or PM me.

Weekly bike meets
H Café. On the A4074 at Berinsfield near Wallingford (postcode OX10 7LY). Every Monday evening. During the summer the large car park gets filled with bikes of all sorts.

The Plough at Cadsden, near Princes Risborough. The Bucks British and Classic Motorcycle Club have been meeting here for a few years now, every Wednesday night, and a nice bunch of guys. An outside meet only, as the pub is now a thriving, successful restaurant, (and very good it is too) but the bike riders are still greeted warmly and the location is locally known by a variety of other riders. www.bbcmcc.freeuk.com

Hi Ted, plenty to keep me out of trouble judging by that list. Also Ludgershall on the A41 between Aylesbury and Bicester is usually in July a day or 2 after the Chinnor Bike Dayz is a really good meet worth going to. Looking forward to getting to a few of these this year.

Are there any updated plans for the Bucks rally this year Ted :?:

Short answer is not at the moment, Steve. As said elsewhere, Chinnor Byke Dayz is the same date as the german Rally so that puts that out of the question. It would be nice to organise something later on in the year, though, and I've had a few thoughts about what to do. At the moment I'm still waiting on word from Kawasaki to see what their thoughts are about the coming year.

Thank you for those dates, I see the first Berks meet clashes with the MAG do, is there any chance the two could be joined together, it would be good for the club to have a presence at the show, and it would be good for the local MAG people if we supported their show as well.

Just a thought.

I shall be at the show either way.

Ok, I've updated the diary dates for the next few months. As always, if you want anything added then just let me know.

Further to my piece in the last Newzletter, I've put in a couple of Friday evening meet-up/rideouts from The Peacock near Lane End and there's also a run up to Banbury to meet up with the Laverda Owners Club at one of their monthly meets. I'll be posting reminders about these closer to the days.

Hope to see you out and about.

Ted, I've found this very useful, having a lot of event dates in one place.

Perhaps we should consider a 'calender' thread for future year's. Just need a volunteer to keep it up to date. :sou
