Another SoCal KZ/Z ride

#1 PostAuthor: KZJohn » Mon Jun 25, 2007 4:52 pm

Hello again gents. We had another SoCal Z ride last weekend and I thought I would share some of the pic's.
This ride took place in the SanBernardino mountains about 1 1/2 hours inland from LosAngeles. Lots of twisty mountains roads,(and flat landers in their cages clogging up the roads). We stopped to help a kid on a R6 that had low sided and slid across the road,(the pics with the bike on it's side). The pics showing the view out across the valley is at a place called "Rim of the World". on a clear day you can see all the way out to the ocean. We had lunch at the lake side town of Big Bear. Thats when the lone CBR in a blatent attemp to take out the Z's sank it's side stand in the fresh blacktop and leaned against the LTD 900 next to it threatening to take out the whole line.
All in all a good ride, no one in the group crashed and everyone had a good time.
Ride safe guys...............KZJohn

Jeff is the saviour of Z's the world over. I check him 1st when I need something. Most of us in the group have a t-shirt or 2 from Z1.
