Belive it or not, we were unbelivable lucy  The weather was very good, temperature between 20-25 deg, celcius all day. A bit colder at nigth of course, but rather unusual for northern norway. The local citizen said it was several years since last time they had the same weather for such a long time :D

Paul

Come on what happend to that British Sprit, Let plan a -ucking trip up there say in 2017, the norweagens said they will go again and the germans to , with a little thought and planing we could go to , Would need min a month, Kirt the Norwegan is up for it , but once every ten years is enough for him. Think about it anyway , even a trip round france or weekend in spain , i know many brit bike clubs that do just that........

Zssssss were made To travel , not to sit in the garage !!!!!!!!

:sf

Ok if not the north cape then F--king Cape Town !!!!!!!!!

Oh and you asked if iy was cold , Well the day before the rally it was 37 Centrigrade , great weather , but coming back in the south of Norway we got all that rail which flooded the U/K , fuc- me waterfalls coming over the road , Roads closed , Roads became rivers , quite an experience It was then I found out my F--king Boots Leaked , Oh Oh , still we all made it back

Hello keith
I understand your enthusiasm for Norway, I had done the 24hr crossing to Bergan and travelled through, over and around the mountains on my way down to Oslo for the meeting, to do the north cape run with everyone,
but i had problems with the Z1-R(only running on 3 cylinders and drinking 1 ltr of oil per tank of petrol), so i had to make the decision to come home, on the sat heading back up to bergan,i got the bike running on all 4 cylinders but it was still drinking lots of oil, the ride back was one of those runs that will stay with me for a long time, i can not wait until 2017 befor i go back so it will be Germany next year, then in 2009 i will go back and finnish my north cape run.
