Thought I might give the ZZR a blast out of our area (Bucks etc...ooer!) but the Redgate address comes up with two postcodes!
"Watling Street, Fenny Drayton, Fenny Drayton, Warwickshire, CV10 0SB, Fenny Drayton, Warwickshire CV9 0RY"

Anyone got a proper address?

Bike trouble for me as well today Paul!
Broke down at Hinckley Island roundabout, nice Triumph Motorcycle
themed bar in the Hotel near the roundabout there though

Possibly blown head gasket... ah well, been itching to dismantle
it for winter rebuild anyway :D

Jeff pulled over on the roundabout about 10 mins before recovery
vehicle arrived, nice to see him... and loads of other bikers that
pulled over to ask if we needed help whilst we were waiting.
Glad it weren't chucking down with rain phewwww! A guy on a
ZRX1200 pulled over, said he lived other side of Birmingham and
was just on way back home from a ZRX Club meet in
Market Harborough. Another guy pulled over on
a Triumph Thunderbird 900, he was on his way home to Gloucester.
Quite an interesting 3 hours

I don't know - I'd have to ask David Higgs

Haven't took the head off it since I bought it off David Higgs in May.
Compression went after several kickstart attempts (starter motor not
cranking over at all), brand new battery blah blah blah, the compression
was and has been since I first bought it, bloomin' strong, but after
several kickstart attempts at the roundabout roadside, left it a few
minutes, tried again then no compression at all

Only just re torqued the head (30ft-lbs) before todays ride out, after
it's recent dyno run, which did leave the head smoking a bit, but then
who knows, if it had only just been rebuilt before David sold it on to
me, it's only done about 500 miles since then so, a dyno run would've
exacerbated the need for a re torqueing of the head. Anyway, as I said,
I've been itching to dismantle the engine, that way we'll know it will have
a fresh start in life :D

Jay: Total loss of compression that doesn't sound good :(

If you would like me to take a look at it for you or just need a hand let me know.

Paul: Glad you got home ok. Never known a valve to go like that it was weird...
