ZED TOUR OF NORMANDY 1ST MAY TO 4TH MAY 2015

a few of us were discussing a zed tour of normandy war sites again next year probally end of may fri to mon, ferry from portsmouth to cherbourg and country/coastal ride to Arromanches.
there is a B&B there with safe secure bike parking for resonable prices ,
if any one is interested let us know or keep an eye on the international tour page.

Make it early May mate - late May is too close to June and a Nordkapp adventure.

Was thinking of doing this myself next year on my own on the Rex but it would be good to have some company. Got to earn enough Brownie points first though to get a pass out

count me in! ex forces, took my sons to Normandy this year a week before the remembrance. A very sobering experience. I would like to pay my respects again

It is proving difficult to find a place to accomaTe large numbers , but have found this place

and reserved 6 beds. hopefully 4 more, he is going to let me know.
however there are other places that can accomodate 2 people here and there.
the town of Arromance is small and all hotels/B&B are close to each other. so should be no problem to get people in some where, but they are selling out fast.
and only 1 pub that stays open after 10pm.(also 2 mins away)
CAN PEOPLE CONFIRM IF THEY ARE A DEFINATE WITH ME ASAP and i will book the beds
rooms are approx 45 euros per night PP.
FERRY is working out about £140 return , (approx) not very good sailing times, but we can discuss this after booking rooms.
if you have been before you know how poplular and good a trip this is, if not you will love it. great roads for the ZEDS
