i worked there from 1976-2007 & before it was re named to its current name it was called cradley heath motorcycles but they where selling new z1a's & s1b 250 in 1974. they moved to the current location when i started working there but they only had to move 300yds i remember we where moving the parts for about a month. they have probably the biggest parts stock in Europe & supply parts all over the world

I started going there in 79 and went every sat to ogle at the bikes! I'm sure it was called cradley Heath kawasaki then though. They've had that Z1A in the shop forever! It used to be mint but now it needs a restoration!

yes they did drop the kawaski from the company name never knew why? that was from about 1997. i restored the two strokes from 1978-1980 & the kt 250 which was a box of parts. a good friend of mine restored the z1a in 1985 & did a straight swap for a zx10 b1 in 1988. the bikes i restored have never been started from the day i drove them to the showroom & where built from parts they had on the shelf.
