Hope to see some of you there.

For anyone going to Kop Hill tomorrow, I'm right at the end of the bike section on position 180, just opposite the Shuttleworth Collection stand.

Today was awesome. First run this morning was a bit damp so took it very easy. While I was waiting on the start line with two bikes in front one of the Marshalls came up to me and said "Watch out because one of the cars has dropped a load of coolant!". That filled me with loads of confidence.

On the afternoon run I'd hit about 70 odd on the start straight when I sensed something was wrong, so slowed down. I then realised what was wrong was my visor was up! Doh! You feel such a fool dontcha.

May try a run with Launch Control tomorrow.

Hope to see some of you there.

Sunday at Kop Hill was great! Adam and Chris u came over to say hello.

Morning run was interesting...start was fairly good but my boot hit the right peg on the way up and I couldn't get my foot planted, so eased off yet again!

Final run in the afternoon was perfect. Got to the queue for the start line behind about 6 cars...the marshalls then waved me past the queue to the start. Dry road, good start, vizor down!, feet on pegs and opened it up all the way up the hill.

When I got back to the paddock, my missus, who had been in the middle grandstand and who was supposed to be videoing the run said "I saw you come across the road, so started to get my camera out and the next thing you were gone!"

So if anyone managed to video my Sunday afternoon run I would be really grateful to see it.

BTW, weather permitting, I'll be off to Bike Nite at the Ace this Friday night if anyone fancies joining me.

Might be able to join you Steve, what time would you be setting off? I get home just after 6pm so about 6.45pm is the earliest I could do.

Didn't get any footage of Kop Hill but the sound of your H2 was like nothing else. It got a lot of attention.

Was planning to leave earlier but am happy to meet up later and ride down together if that suits you.

Was planning to go down the A413 and pick up the A40 to Hangar Lane Giratory.

If you want send me a personal with your mobile and I'll call you to arrange time and place.

Sound of the H2 has got throatier as Dave Wood has just removed the baffles. Surprisingly it's no louder, just deeper in tone.

Apparently this also weakens the mixture slightly which is a good thing according to Dave as they run massively rich as standard.

Good night at the Ace. Lot of very quick bikes. There was another 2016 H2 there but he'd fitted a straight-through exhaust (no cats) and what looked like a carbon fibre rear wheel.

The reg was BO05 THZ (BOOST H2).

Mine seemed to generate a bit of interest with one or two people at a time coming over to chat, but when I decided to go a crowd of maybe 50 or 60 people all suddenly appeared to take pics and vids of me moving off.

I don't think it was my magnetic personality that attracted them.

Fast bike night next Friday so may go if work schedule and weather permits.
