We're booking hotels etc this week.

Aim is to go out thursday - stay on holland/germany border thursday night. Arrive friday.

Leave sunday. Stay in Belgium on the way back (Probably Ghent or Bruges) and afternoon tunnel on the way back.

Any other southern types want to be added to the whatsapp discussion pm me your whatsapp details.

For an over night in Belgium I would recommend Ypres take in the Last Post Ceremony at the Menine Gate, its very moving(no matter how many times you see it), lots of accommodation, a great square full of bars and eatery's, we have based ourselves there many times for touring the WW1 sites in the area and for overnight stops when heading further south. its only about an hour from the crossings at Calais, good luck with the trip I am looking into possibly tagging this on to our European trip if I can move some dates about.

Thanks for the suggestions. We already have a practice trip in May to the WW1 sites. With the Z1000 Rally we have all booked Hotels and accommodation. Chunnel times already posted.

Next to the Menine Gate Vimmy Ridge is my favourite of the big memorials, "Quality Street" is a very special small site, loads to see loads I have not yet seen.
