My son and I rode up to Ralph's Rally Yesterday for the ride out. Despite the rain on the ride, and pissing down all the way home. We both really enjoyed it, the ride out was very well organised and very enjoyable, with a spot of afternoon tea at the midway point. We were both first timers to the Rally and were both made very welcome by a great bunch of lads (and ladies) I must say the standard of workmanship and engineering skill on display never ceases to amaze me, the standard that people attain in their sheds and workshops is very impressive. A great day, great weekend next year hopefully . Big Thank You to Ralph and Marion, enjoy the rest of your weekend. Sean and Jack.

GREAT WEEKEND RALPH, this weather is normal for me on a SW rally. ride out to the museum was very interesting , not the sort of place you expect a bunch of bikers to visit

Thanks to all that joined our merry throng at the weekend, despite the jetstream fucking up the weather.
As a few of you know, I had intended that as the tenth rally that this was to be my last and hoped someone else would take on the job (unlikely I know). I was plied with much Butcombe (real local beer - not that fizzy crap from oop Norf) and kind comments until I relented and there will be another South West Rally next year at the same venue, but this year it will be a week earlier than usual as CB wants to go to the insane racing at Aberdare!

Good on you Ralph,
My hat goes off to you for all your efforts in organising the rally and holidays permitting I will try and make it.
The event deserves to be supported and I trust many of the forum members take time out to support it.

Cheers Ralph and Marion. Great rally despite the rain - just a good excuse for more drinking. Looking forward to the next one.
