None of our members were involved in the judging..... but that winning HD was nice
Z1A won best Kawasaki and Dave Marlow wone runner up with his KZ550.
So many well turned out bikes again, loved Garry's H1A, very nice (and very shiny of course) :D
Thanks to all who attended, we raised just short of £1100 for Macmillan Cancer Support so a great result.
Regards Will

Cheers Will, although it was clearly not shiny enough.

Have to be honest and say I quite liked the Hardly, It was 'different' and not remotely like your typical Tractor at all. That said it did raise a few eyebrows (to say the least) when it was chosen as the winner.

Chris.
The funny thing is that last year a British bike won best in show, then this year a bloody yank :??
Maybe time for a change of judge.

Still, plenty of lovely Ondas for you fascists to drool over!

Despite the very questionable judging, it was a brilliantly organised show and thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put it together.

A great turnout of bikes and lots raised for charity, so well done for that.

I spoke to Jim after the event and he seemed as bewildered at the judge's decision as everyone else but as everyone knows, the judge's decision is final, so not much the organisers could do.

I can't help thinking that the judge let the organisers down badly by choosing a Harley though.

Another excellent show, a good variation of bikes - standard classics and modified. Look forward to next years :up
