Hi,
My bike will be on display at Stafford this weekend and I have received my weekend pass.
On the leaflet that came with the pass it mentions vehicle passes.
I was originally going to ride to the show but now I’m bringing the bike up in a van.
Will I need a vehicle pass for the van or can I drive in close enough to unload the bike ?

You will need a vehicle pass, as the main hall is quite some way from the public parking. And it's likely to be pissing it down...
My pack contained a vehicle pass, which I don't need. So maybe we can work out a way for you to use mine?

Hi Ultim8PC.
I did PM Jerry but no reply yet so using your spare vehicle pass sounds like a plan.
I did call the organisers number on the leaflet and they suggested as the show is close to maybe get someone to leave a pass for me at the gate.
Would you be able to do this and if so what time Friday do you expect to arrive ?

I'm not likely to arrive until 1pm at the earliest I think.

JimBoUK,
I've been involved with setting up at Stafford for quite a few years now. A vehicle pass will let you bring a van/car/truck to the very rear of the exhibition halls, although finding somewhere to park/unload can be difficult.
Without a vehicle pass, you should be able to park (on Friday at least) in the exhibitors car park, which is the same side of the road, as the halls. Probably a 500 meter ride/push from there.
Feel free to call me 07710 158701 if you need to know more, but I don't always hear my phone during set up.
Looking forward to meeting you..... GB :sou

Found some cool stuff including bike rally tickets, a Z1000 A1 owners manual and best of all, a club magazine, membership ticket and leaflet from my Z1 owners club membership in 1993 :)
I’ll bring them to the show for others too see

Fab to meet up with folks again. Sadly, I couldn't spend much time on the stand as I was running my own one at the event.
The clubs stand look great, with a nice selection of bikes.
I'll see if I can one of my MK2s ready for next year and it would be great if we could get an ST also.
