Lower Lode Late Summer Ball

#1 PostAuthor: RALPHARAMA » Thu Aug 29, 2019 9:02 am

It has been brought to my attention that there is no info about the Lower Lode in September!

It will be Saturday 14th September - Sunday 15th.

For those that haven't been before, we meet at the Lower Lode Inn (https://www.lowerlodeinn.co.uk/) which is just across the river Severn from The historic Midlands town of Tewkesbury. The late summer meet isn't a rally as such. Assuming the weather's good plenty of Ladz will rock up on their Zeds and start supping ale as though prohibition will start the day after and talk loadsa crap.

The pub is set in a breath takingly beautiful spot on the river and has rooms to rent in the very old pub and massive amounts of camping. Caravans can often be rented for the night as well. Officially camping isn't free, but I have never known anyone asked to pay. The is good honest pub grub served for lunch and dinner and in the morning we all do the best to cure our hangovers with a very reasonably priced fat bastard breakfast of enormous proportions.

Mine host is the friendly and helpful Sam. If you want a room or caravan and haven't booked yet give Sam a call ASAP and she will get you booked in. No need to book for camping.

Hopefully see you all there :D

Going back down memory lane with a sadly missed Geoff Parr who really enjoyed the ' Lode
