Lower Lode 15-17 May 2020
Posted: Tue Sep 17, 2019 1:10 pm
Friday 15th - Sunday 17th May
Call it what you want this is a two day orgy of Zedness which is open to all.
There will be a ride-out for those that want to partake.
Providing Jerry is willing to give us some gear there will be a raffle in aid of the air ambulance service. This is in no way mandatory.
There will be no admission charge Ian Martin told people this year that there was, along with other untruths that kept a number of regulars away.
There will be plenty of food available at breakfast, lunch and dinner time, not to mention a selection of good quality real ales and ciders for those of a cast iron constitution. Sam's faggots are becoming legendary amongst us regulars, though some struggle with room for beer once eaten.
There is plenty of space for camping and whilst strictly speaking it is chargeable, to my knowledge Sam has never charged anyone at one of our gatherings. There are a limited number of rooms, but these get booked up early and I always book mine after the September meet for next years meets.
The Lower Lode Inn is very much biker friendly and always welcomes well behaved dogs. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings on the edge of the River Severn
Some years ago with our late, great friend Geoff Parr who is sadly missed by all who knew him
