Lower Lode Forthampton

Not a meet as such because we cannot really organise stuff like this, more of a call to arms from a place that many of us have visited and stayed in in the past years anyway I digress read on :- I have had a request from the landlady @ the Lower lode inn where we have held meetings for this club official and unofficial and motorcycle camping and ride outs in general. This is for the weekend of 9th 10th 11th July, she had a large organised rally on this weekend that has had to be cancelled due to the ongoing situation, this is a pretty bad blow as she was relying on the revenue to see her through the months ahead ,in order to help out whilst we cannot and will not organise anything official the bottom line is she is still open for business and camping is still available so if you find yourself at a loose end in the coming days/weeks you will be more than welcome to visit the Inn . This location is a little jewel and it is ideally situated in Gloucestershire within easy riding distance from most places in the Midlands,off junction 9 M5 ,junction 1 M50.It is a good ride out with excellents roads from every direction, would be a shame to lose it. Those of you who know know , those of you that have never been would be in for a pleasant surprise . it’s on open invitation over the coming weeks and you can be assured of a warm welcome. Food & Drink is available rooms are bookable and camping is freely available,as an aside the bench a number of us contributed too in memory of Steve (Ginger Bear) and Geoff Parr (Z1Parr) from our club is situated there .
