Polishing the investment bike club

Guys I got to be honest do we ever get together for a meet I’m also a member of the XJR owners club and they are always out and about don’t think I shall be renewing my membership for next year as I’ve met no one from the club.had no info on local meets and just look at very nice bikes parked in the garage !!! Or on a solo ride out ! Gus put on a link to the lower lode meet in Gloucestershire and not one z 1 there.or not that I could see anyway cmon I’ve no idea who my local area rep is but fingers need to be removed !!

Best thing to do is just pick a venue, date and time and post it up on here and any Zed related facebook pages.

There used to be meets rallies and shows but there was some kind of medical issue and not much has happened since 2019

COVID-19 has hampered plans for rally’s / meets etc for the whole of last year and this year. I have been going to local VJMC meets - just a suggestion.

Not sure of your expectations but take yourself back to the Lode weekend August 7 /8 , I will be there from late afternoon the 5th with a few friends, you will be made welcome :D

Where about s in Gloucestershire are you as I am in south Gloucestershire and there are 6 off us on Zeds and we’re out around the cotswolds , this year as we all know it’s been hard to have meet ups but things are getting easier

I think Chrisu has highlighted one point, technology moves on and Whatsapp and farcebook are easier means to organise ride outs and meets locally.
Some clubs now have a basic website but no forums.
I like forums, I like the search facility and the 'permanence' but I am an infrequent visitor here as the FB page is more immediate.
East Anglia club region also has it's own Whatsapp group.

Thanks guys for the heads up . I live in Taynton by Gloucester and we have a good bike scene here the lower lode pub is hosting a Zed group next weekend also the ogri mcc have a good summer rally which we have tickets for just hoping it all goes a head at Kemble airport.
