You will love it. I've only done a few miles as it has pi**ed down all week but it feels a bit different to my previous 2018 model. Could be just being new and therefore all a bit tighter, although my other one had only done 5000 miles. Seems to be set up very hard which on the roads round here does you back in. :( so I need to have fiddle with the suspension. The motor is as magnificent as ever, you can literally drive it from 20mph in 6th gear and it just pulls away, no fuss. Vibration is non existent. The tick-over from cold has been reduced to around 16000-1700 RPM which is sensible . I hated that the old one span up to 2200RPM or so when stone cold...just didn't seem right. The throttle is pretty much the same and still needs to be handled with kid gloves, not quite an ON/OFF switch but pretty close. The gold wheels are growing on me. I wasn't too sure to start with. They look fantastic on the green Z650RS but with Brown and Orange...hmmmmmm??? Nevertheless the paint finish is superb and looking forward to seeing it when we finally get some sunshine, indeed the general build quality is fantastic. I'll report back when I have a few more miles on it. :D

Hope it dry's up for you soon :)
I to had the 2018 model sold it last yr with very low mls alway's wondered what i was thinking of especially as the wife
bought it me for my birthday anyway i got away with another for this birthday bless her.
I was hoping they might have addressed the throttle issue but never mind and yes that cold start was awful .

See first post Keith - i update as bikes are offered. You can update too as you're an admin.

Spoke with Buzzard today who hopefully will be able to confirm a couple of modified bikes next week.

Guys,

It seems we won't get a lot of communications from Mortons until July so when we do we'll be in touch further.

Thanks for all the offers - more of an update/contact once we've heard from Mortons. If any circumstances change please let me, taffus or keithz1r know.
