Hi,

I know its a bit earlier than normal but given its the 50th anniversary of the Z1 we thought we'd try and get something organised at least within the club.
Keith, Taffus and myself have volunteered to be the organising committee this year with Jerrys guidance.

Talking it through we thought a Zs through the ages would be a good theme. Based on that and the need for 10 bikes on the stand we are proposing 10 from the following.

UPDATE - the 10 bikes are as below

Z1 Hutchy
Z1B relisysxx
Z900A4 Ralph
Z1000 A1/A2 DaveZ1R
Z1000 A3/A4 Baz Swailes
Z special thezfactor
Z1R Keith unless anyone else volunteers
Z1000H Chris unless anyone else volunteers
Z1000J Bill
GPZ1100 RobW

So we are asking for people to volunteer their bikes to be on the stand. We're not looking for concours pristine bikes but those that are good examples. Modified bikes welcome. If you would like to show your bike please do let Keith, Taffus or myself know.
To ease the financial hit of being there over the weekend Jerry has offered £50 per bike to assist with expenses.

Hopefully we can come back in 2022 with a great stand. So please let us know.

Sounds like a good plan.
Any of mine are available as usual but with them all being modified they probably don't suit the theme but are there if plans change or needed to bring up the numbers.
I must say though that having a 900RS on the stand doesn't really fit in with the Z's lineage at all with it being neither aircooled or in any remote way a continuation in development of the same machine which to all intents and purposes ended with the 1100 unitrack that ideally should be included instead.
I personally don't think the 900RS relates at all to the focus of the club.

I agree.
Would make more sense to have a GPZ1100

Agreed, needs to be a pre 1985 air-cooled Zed.
