Hi all
I would just like to thank all the volunteers and riders who all made the Z1 50th Anniversary meet a great success at the Crich Tramway Classic bike show last Sunday. Special thanks to Jonathon Lambley for letting me organise the Z1 meet outside the Red Lion Pub, which is the centre piece of the show at Crich. Riders came from far and wide to make a spectacular line up outside the pub. There was 17 Z1s and 10 Z900 and 8 Z1000, making a total of 35 motorcycles. I spoke to a lot of the Z riders and found that Karen had ridden the furthest from Ipswich, which was 200 miles away. Sorry if someone rode further and I didn’t speak to you.

Neil Warburton won the best Z1 award No 207. Which was judged by the VJMC. I think the little teddy bear swung it.

All in all, there were no moans, and every body said how well the turn out was, and how good the show was over all. Quite a few said they will be back next year. In total there were 400 bikes on show and 200 in the car park outside.

Once again, thanks to all for making this happen and I look forward to meeting you all again in the not to distance future.
Cheers Glenn
Ps The first photo is me as it started and as it ended

Hello Glenn,

thank you for sharing the information and pictures. I would have liked to
participate with one of my Z's. But we will come to Rugby soon an it would
have been to much of travelling for us.

I put a copy of your report into our Forum of Z-Club Germany.

See you some times - may be in Bad Kissingen.
