Eelmoor Sprint Sunday 28 Sept

Sunday 28th September is our local VMCC round of sprinting and twisty's.

Generally a small but very friendly and informal event nearer the end of the year but has been moved foward to end of Sept for 2008.

This is a strange one because the morning session has a single lane timed sprint over an eigth of a mile and the afternoon session is standing start into very tight twisty corners then nail it for effectively a rolling eigth of a mile in the opposite direction.

£63 if you want to have a go and need to phone very soon if not full already.
It works out for locals about the same price after fuel as a trip to Santa Pod or Avon Park.

Post code for sat nav is GU11 1PZ

Good to see you too Ludders, don`t worry i`ve just had some more cake to increase the weight on the rear wheel, shouldn`t be too long before i`m fat enough to stop it spinning! Cheers for doing the vids and pics Al, it was indeed a cracking day, great weather and lots of friendly people, and i think mine was the quickest time of the day, even with the wheelspin! That run on the video was my first where the airshifter wasn`t working, hence you can hear it hitting the rev limiter at around 10,500rpm, as i`m pressing the button and wondering why it won`t change gear  (turned out to be a loose air bottle :) ) So it did get better after that, still slower than normal, but it was about 7.2 secs @ 114mph in the 1/8th. Now where`s the rest of my cake.....
