Festival of 1000 bikes 2007

#1 PostAuthor: Jerry » Fri Feb 16, 2007 10:26 pm

I've recieved an invite for the 1000 bikes do at Mallory, but it's a week after the VJMC show at Uttoxeter. I'm prepared to do both, but have we the bikes out there to show? 12-14 top bikes at VJMC, 6-10 bikes at Mallory with a race/modified tilt. What you say bruddas??

I really enjoyed Mallory last year and would really like to do it again this year even though my old Zed is not mint or race/mod.

Becker, it was good to meet up with you last year at Mallory, although you are one of the few people that i have spoken to, that enjoyed it.
I thought it was ok, but could have been better, perhaps this years event will be an improvement.

I'll take that as a no, then. Although I'll probably go up anyway. Good one, Steve F!! I nearly had another hernia laughing at the thought of the fatlads swooping round Gerards like a bunch of wasps, jostling for position with the Ariel 3's.

Phil, I really enjoyed it because I enjoy going anywhere where there are bikes, especially Zeds.

The weather was bad, the pub meal thing very slow and poor - but I still enjoyed it - cause at least I was out on me Zed.

Shame it doesn't look like we'll have a stand again this year. How about a joint stand with one of the other clubs?
