Captain Mainwaring - can I make a suggestion on the rideout? I reckon the best riding hereabouts is out to the Berkshire Downs / Valley of the Racehorses. Steam down through Watlington/Benson/ Wantage then head south. Very purdee and fabi roads. Bedlow - maybe liaise with you on this?

Hi all, just to put the record straight Steve Thomas is not at present stepping down from being the Bucks Rep. However due to personal circumstances and a busy schedule he has asked me to take some of the pressure off him and organize the Bucks rally for this year, for which i am very happy to do. Keep a look out on the meetings board for further info. regards Bedlow

Hi Mr B
I'm happy to help out if I can - being so local and all. I've been scouting a ride-out route up into the Cotswolds - including a pub lunch stop - so If you want me to take care of that I'd be happy to.

Are you still thinking of riding out into the Cotswolds? If yes, where abouts?

I'm working on getting a weekend pass for this event, but I might like to join the event at the Cotswolds pub and ride back to the rally, rather than ride to the rally and then back into the Cotswolds.

Also, can someone post some more details about the rally location?

Yo MrB

In fact plans have changed a little since that posting.
We're now fixing to do a shorter local ride-out leaving the Rally around 11 / 11.30 and finishing up at the Chinnor Bike Show around 1 pm for scrumpy and toffee apples. The show site is only about 5 miles from the Rally venue, so we'll take a meandering circular route over there.
In short, we're not really going to hit the Cotswolds at all!
The Venue is the Peacock at Lane End - Graham (Bedlow1) is the one to contact for more details - I know he'll be posting some more stuff in the near future and I think a flyer is being sent out too.

Hi gang,

The rally was not featured in the last club mag so we are going to send out a flyer soon to all members., Some of our flock do not use the internet and therefore maybe unaware of the event.

not long to go, so get polishing and dont do a rain dance

If you have any questions send me a PM
regards

Bedlow
