I need to find a source of genuine OEM bands. Mine are new, from a well known specialist, but black. When I queried it I was told that that's all that's available :( I couldn't get Cradley's website to go back that far to check if they have them.

A quick query about the hose feeding oil to the chain oiler, I've never seen one on the outside of the transmission cover before. That said I can see that keeping it away from the drive chain is an issue, very messy if the chain cuts it. Although I have the original tank and pump for my Z1A, I won't be fitting it because my side panel came painted, with no hole for the dipstick, and I daren't cut a hole in case I screw up the paint.

If you enter the OEM part number in the search box on Cradley Kawasaki website, it will come up if they have it. Price was good too £8 each delivered. Also the appearance is correct - dark olive. Sometimes the big 4 manufacturers use modern replacements (like for tubing) which dont look the same as the original part, even though the part number is the same and its an OEM part.

I just bought some for my H2C, part number 92037-061 (front and rear carb rubber clamps) - the Z1 part may be different - I haven't checked.

The H2 part is the same number as the superceded number for the Z1, however I drew a blank at Cradley. It looks like you got the last ones, it shows as no longer available.

I will keep trying but I'm only interested in the real thing. Most listings turn out to be for a compatible part, probably the black coated replicas I got. I found some in the USA on eBay, but the postage is mental as you'd expect.

Go to this URL

https://www.kawasakioriginalparts.com

And enter the part 92037061 in the search box on left hand side

They come up as in stock and orderable. I just tried it - they have plenty in stock at £5.98

I agree overseas stuff is crazy prices now.

Ordered and paid for, thanks!

I'm not sure why their main website drew a blank, the link you gave me worked a treat though - bookmarked for future use. :)
