Z1A

#1 PostAuthor: newz1owner » Mon May 26, 2025 3:09 pm

Good Evening,

Well it's been 24 months in the making in between work and family issues. I would like to extend my thanks to the members who helped me with their vast knowledge and expertise. Also, I would like to thank Phil at "Z Power" with all is help during the project.

Now it's time to enjoy it, I rode it this PM giving it a "shakedown test" and apart from the sticking clutch which free itself off, it ran without fault and pulled cleanly in all gears.

I pulled into the Shell garage to fuel up and whilst there had a cold drink and just stare and looked at it. :D

Have been out on it again the speedo stopped working but simple fix, the cable going into the speedo head had come loose and apart from some minor tweaks with the carbs it's running great.

Nice, nothing more satisfying than getting a bike finished and riding in the sun.

Thank you Kev, yep the final result helps most definitely but at times I was losing the plot. :D
