Z900-A4 looking like a Z1B!

Hi Neal bought this bike back in Jan 2014 in a part ex with an old commando that the seller wanted. She's still running sweet since your rebuild. Checked and shimmed valves last year and oil change, plugs etc. Was missing on left cyl when collected but found blocked pilot jet and a carb balance sorted that out. Also fitted dyna ignition. Only used on dry sunny days of course! May have to sell this year as have knee problems and she's quite a heavy beast compaired to my Fazer8! Fancy it back? ! Cheers Richard.

Hi.yes im glad bike running good, when i got bike it had a Z1000 engine fitted, that was beyond repair.so picked up low mileage 900 engine from John Browse. The engine was completely stripped,it got new cam chain and all rollers, valve seals and guides, new rings, and cam bearings. The wiring was shot,at the time the A4 harness was not available,so fitted new Z1B and modified it. I sold it with Lester alloys, and definitely looks better with spoked. I would love bike back but no room in garage, and wife would kill me .
It actually rode and handled better than my Z1B. But had to make choice, don't think you will have any trouble selling it. It was a complete nut and bolt strip down, anything that needed replaced was. Cheers,Neil.
