The garage is full of bikes now. Sold the Maserati as I wasn't using it and had an offer to good to refuse. Probably did less that a 500 miles in it in the last 5 years.
Finished your diy ?

DIY done, hopefully my next project will get here Wednesday, a little old no! 350 four, it's just going to be a clean up and ride hopefully, i don't want to spend hours working on it so Patina is going to be the order of the day, i also think another big Zed may happen next year.

500 four is one of my fav bikes, a mate had a 72 back in the day. You know a big z makes sense.
what happened to the xs?

The XS was sold because of house move and the fact the bloody thing frustrated me so much during the refurb due to some seriously bad bodges stateside and the previous UK owner, although it ended up a lovely bike it just did not do it for me, as for the 500/4s i had an Italian market 74/75 K3 i loved that bike and to date it was the most reliable i have ever had, i missed out on the chance to buy it back earlier this year it had only done a few thousand miles since i sold it in 2002.

Ok Guys, just waiting on a date related reg and its totally finished. Mot'd and ready to rock. I've put about £5.5k into it and I'd like to see that back if poss so if anyone here is interested or wants to make an offer before it's ebayed PM me.
Its just about new everything and if your interested its all listed in post one.
Mods, if the thread now needs moving do it.
Picture upload does its own thing, even if I rotate it at source it still loads upside down!!!

Thanks Kev, I particulary like the top line, tank, seat and tail piece just flows nice and fluidly without any un natural lumps and bumps.
Still haven't got the v5 back yet.
Anyone know whats with the upside down pic in the post, if you tap it and go to the photobucket pic it shows up the right way?

Proof positive the DVLA are F******G T**TS. I've had my application for a date related plate rejected as apparently a dating letter from the manufacturers is not adequate. According to the rejection letter what I actually need is a dating letter from the manufacturers. That's what I've F******G sent. A dating letter from KHI Europe. Perhaps I need the signature of the bloke who actually recalls making the bike with a photo of him standing beside it with an edition of that days newspaper and a paw print from his dog as well.
