My latest project complete.

Owned this bike for about 4 years after buying it in boxes from a guy who stripped it with a view to restore then gave up on the idea.
I had other projects on the go mostly other people's, until I started in ernest on her about a year ago.
Anyway a year of scouring eBay etc. for all the bits that i didn't realise we're missing and lots of hours of happy garage work and wallet emptying later has produced this.....

Well done for the perseverance again Dave.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys but it’s a labour of love restoring these beauties, and it keeps me out of mischief (and the pub sometimes)
Fired her up for the first time the other day and all was good so had a bit of shakedown run today and apart from a little adjustment to the clutch she was just brilliant!
I spend far too much time restoring and not enough time riding these days. Can’t wait till tomorrow to take her for the MOT. So long as it’s dry of course :D

Looks good Dave, and free road tax .
Need to get out on mine. I've fitted those carbs with the holes in the slides to see what difference they make, if any, having problems with my knee so not been out yet but having an injection in it today so hopefully I'll be out on it tomorrow.

Thanks Pete, hope the knee settles down enough for you to enjoy a ride out, let me know how you get on with the “modded” Carbs.
