Your right, and you are lucky to be in a beautiful part of the country, I was born 20 or so miles west of your home town in the town on the A69 known as the centre of Britain, and I wish I could be riding the Z in my home county, along the rollercoaster military road from Chollerford to Greenhead or over the 68 from West Auckland to Corbridge or Acomb Bellingham through to Kielder, or up over to Alston via Slaggyford, so many great roads up there. Although we visit every year including last year on our Super Tenere the last time I rode a Z round those roads was I think 1982 up from East Anglia for a weeks holiday with a mate both on Z900 A4s.
