Latest z900 purchase

Picked this z900 up from it's American owner last year and due to assorted issues it didn't arrive with until June.
Haven't had any time to do anything other than give it a quick check over and start it up - started second prod and runs well.
Obviously it not all original, but it's tidy enough.
Previous owner bought if from the chap who'd had it repainted, put on 1015 barrel and pistons, 29mm smoothbores and Dyna ignition and coils . Not to mention the chromed engine casings and skillfully 'remodelled' seat (with original base though).. I guess I need to take a closer look and see if it has any tasty cams fitted though.
It also has a Kerker with the 'Race' baffle - sounds pretty awesome but not obnoxiously loud.
The paintwork is not exactly the right colour but it's decent enough.
Chrome is generally good, but rear mudguard not so and has been painted with chrome paint.
Nice drilled front disc.
A few oil leaks from the usual places.
However, not sure what to do with it though. It's too nice to do a full resto, but could be turned to standard spec without to much issue.
What do you guys think? Keep it? Sell it? Tidy it up? Restore it?

Hi Ultim8pc

great bike, congratulations!
As Chris said, put a decent seat and a second front brake on it and ride it as it is.
Looks great!
Cheers
Philippe

Spent a few hours checking it over yesterday and mode the following observations:
The ignition is Dyna3!
Chromed casings are pretty much rot free.
Compression is really good at 125-135 PSI (cold) on all 4 cylinders.
Whipped off the cam cover to find standard cams.
Rear mudguard is not too bad once polished.
Front headlight permanently on due to the lamp being supplied by a permanent feed which has been tapped in. Will need to look into that and get it operating via the headlight switch again.
Frame paint is pretty tidy with very little rust.
Engine bay needs a good degrease and clean so I can see where the oil is coming from.
I'll spend some more time cleaning it up next week.

keep it and make it look standard to the casual observer and ride and enjoy and then stat to collect all the bits for a future rolling restow, you will win hands down in the long run

I've already got a set of standard carbs, airbox, NOS front mudguard and exhaust, so it is an option.
