I understand that some people don't agree with this, but sometime needs must.

Sooo, some of you will be pleased to know that I have sold the J with the OEM exhaust with it....
The new owner is super pleased as he's been looking for an all original J for some time.

I prolly made a mistake with letting the pipes go, but it made the new owner VERY happy indeed. I did make a bit on it so all is not lost.
I'll just keep looking. Stuff is always out there if you long hard enough and long enough.
As I will shortly have two MK2's I need to re-evalute what I'm going to do.
Thinking of one being bog standard and the other a bit of a special. All comes down to money, space and time.
I am a big fan of Japanese after market exhausts, even if having one goers against the trend. (I bought a hand made Japanese TI system for my ZRX1200R when the usual choice is an Akrapovic, and bought 7 spoke Dymag wheels when everyone buys Galespeeds..).
I do have a very nice condition Kerker which should fit (with a bracket of course!)

Rick,
Sadly, I let the 4/1 go with the J also - doh!

removing the exhausts and replacing them by a 4 in 1 would be a major crime and should be punished by hanging on a tree until death follows! :mad

That’s quite harsh...

TBH that's why I kept the 4/2 with the bike!

Hi Ultim8pc

by keeping the 4 in 2 with the J you have a pardon. But the attempt of separating the original exhaust from a perfectly preserved bike is also a crime. The sentence is life long ownership of a MK2.
