Hi men
I bought a new toy today!
DSCN4022.JPG

A Gpz 1100 B2 from 1982.

It's painted in Eddy Lawson colours so it' a replica of a replica

It needs some parts but I'm convinced I'll find them somewhere...
It's my new project so I'll start a topic at the correct place.

Hi Philippe, this looks like an interesting project especially to a fellow B2 owner. It looks like it hasn't been badly looked after and it's all there . Is it a Belgian bike ? Never seen one with a seat strap before. I hope the injection system is working correctly , most of the sensors etc are no longer available. An original exhaust should be a challenge to locate , but a Unitrak model fits with a few mods and is easier to find . So get the spanners out and I look forward to your project updates.

Hi men
thanks for the encouragements !
I hope that the engine runs and that the injection is working, I didn't hear it run yet...
My goal is to restore it to original specs...and yes, with original exhausts, etc .
I know it'll be a challenge to find the missing parts but, as many of you know: the hunt is often better than the catch!
I'll give it at start soon, so a little bit of patience please.
@Derek : the two uni-tracs will be for the future. After all I need something to do when I retire at the first of januari 2021 :D

Bloody hell Philippe!

Always fancied one of those. Looking forward to seeing progress. (Which will be excellent no doubt).
