The 'marmite' z900
The 'marmite' z900
Well, I just picked this up in the USA.
The price was right and I think it has potential. Seller says it's had a ground up rebuild and the top end done.
I think it could be made into a nice(r) non-standard z900 without spending huge money..
What do you guys think?

In general I don't mind a bit of black/white contrast on a bike... but that's pretty horrible as it stands !

I’d strip down to nothing and paint the frame a different colour.

Yeah, I suppose purple metal flake would look okay.

Re: The 'marmite' z900
Definitely loads of potential there for making into a crackin' Zed.
Ride it as for now if its good to go (if and when we get a 'dry spell')
You can make small changes 'as and when' during the year.

If it was Deep Purple I’d agree.

Yes, a Deep Purple frame and bodywork with golden pinstripes and gold plated parts would look absolutely great! So seventies!

Likewise - paint the frame black lose the gaiters and the painted fork legs. Red Japanese flag on the tank. Job done.
