Hi Nigel,

If they do sort the heat shields, will we be able to retrofit to the systems we already have?

Cheers.

No idea.
You can fit the OEM ones if you make a little bracket.

How do the new exhausts sound?

Can they be compared to original sound produced?

Just curious.

Managed to sort the rear light bracket and number plate positioning and have put UK spec rear shocks on her - I'm pleased as those little changes makes the bike look better.

Re exhausts heat shields - I tried to fit the pair of standard heat shields off my old knackered exhausts and could not get them to line up - less than 5mm out of true but enough to stop them locating onto the horizontal pipe before the upsweep - bugger  .

Re sound - sorry not able to compare as my old exhaust system was shot to pieces when I got the bike, but they do sound nice and throaty, and surprisingly deeper than my Z900A4 4 into 4; which runs a Wiseco 1015 big bore - so has same cc displacement. Maybe one of the other guys swapping a system over can commnet on this ?

Cheers Tim
