Thanks for all the kind words. 200 miles on it and just a couple of small leaks sorted. It's running well although I did get soaked last weekend when me and Sven went to the H cafe :( Much cleaning followed this week but back to shiny best. First oil/filter change just after 100 miles and all looked good there.

Out of interest, I find the front brakes ( cable operated master cylinder) to be as good (bad!) as my twin disc Z1B and A4. I was expecting them to be really poor but with braided lines they are reasonable.

Lovey restoration, well done. Its not AFT 420V is it. Been looking for my old bike for many years. I was the first owner, bought from Kawasaki Newcastle. Sold it when I moved to Canada in 1987 - Wish I still had it :(

Afraid not, it's AVT 128S and is shown in all it's glory in October of this years' calendar.

Thanks for the complements.

Congratulations mate - looks lovely! :up :up

I've also got Hagon shocks on mine but went for Goodrich hoses and BT45's - what tyres did you go for?

Let's hope we all go back to some sort of normality soon and can enjoy the summer!!

I've put HEL brake lines on this and Avon tyres. They seem as good as the BT45's on my other old Zeds.

Looking forward to the end of restrictions and get out again too.
