Beautiful piece of kit and nothing wrong with looking like nothing else on earth :)

And am I the only person on here who preferred the Super Candy Red Z1-B over the blue? At the time I thought the blue looked a bit 'plasticky', if there is such a word.

Interestingly the paint is the original Candy Red the bike left the factory with, just re-lacquered.

'Bootiful' as they say in Norfolk, together with a high-six :D

Mine is not quite as shiny as I'm rebuilding it to look like a 45 year old bike that's been cleaned up a bit. Not a fan of vapour blasting on old kit, but as always it's horses for courses.

Whatever condition they're rebuilt to the important thing is to get them on the road and ride them. That's what they were designed for.

Ride safe.

This is the blue a Z1b should have been, and my marmite one underneath.
