Hi all, new to the forum but owned one or two nice zeds over the years , mainly non standard ?. Hope there not too out of favour here. Just bought this from a close friend. He had it 6 years but never actually rode it.
Its a big bore motor built by Tim Blakemoor, 1260 cc , FCR 33s, not opened it up but said to have modded cams and a big valve head.

Thanks Warren, always admired it sat in his garage. He spent a fortune over the years, he had the mono shock done at metmachex which all told with the caliper bracket, brake arm and chain guard came to nearly £1400.Iv'e Just put a new dyna ignition on as the 2 and 3 module was breaking up after just having the odd start up over the last few years. Got a few ideas of my own for the winter months but will be on the road for sure next year.

Thanks marmck, not sure about the 70s paint job, sure that will be changed over the winter.

Seventies paint job is good it is what is - the way they were all done at one time and now a lot rarer in that condition than a samey standard one. :blah

Keep it period!! Nice example :D

Welcome.

Not my Thang, but clearly nice work.

Looking at that Swinger there must be a world shortage of Aluminium now...

Thanks Kev, i always liked the standard blue Z1b colours, not really in keeping with the rest of the bike though as not much is standard.

It would look good in Z1B colours too but I wouldn't paint over that one... If you fancy getting a second body set to play with that would be a different matter - good idea :D :D :D

That’s a stunner, I’d leave it exactly as it is!

The guy who had that bike before you is the kind of guy that I’d like to buy a bike from!
