Not quite finished KZ900LTD
Not quite finished KZ900LTD
Since this photo was taken, I had to get a new tank and have it repainted as the original had rusted from the inside (costly mistake). Another side stand which keeps the bike more upright.
Still haven’t been out in it yet as the bad weather came along as soon as the fuel tank was finished.

Hi
She's coming along nicely!
What side stand did you go for?
Want to change on my KZ1000LTD, leans over at a hell of an angle.
Cheers

Mine has the stand off a Z1000a2, about an inch longer.
Re: Not quite finished KZ900LTD
Great job, love the modified zeds, will probably ride well too and attract a lot of attention.

Arnold
Sorry about the delay in responding, but stuck doing other bikes and haven’t logged on lately.
I bought a Z900 side stand from Z Power and now doesn’t lean over quite so far.
Having said that running 17” wheels means it’s probably too upright, so I’ll grind the heal of the stand off to make it sit slightly better.
