Hi.
My 1973 orange and black bike has engine number Z1E 00073 and frame Z1F 00171 UK Reg SPE 113L
Was originally in Australia and imported in the mid 90s. Has kph speedometer, 4 into 1 but otherwise is all more or less original. Wish I had the money to bring it up to spec. I also have some invoices for new parts fitted and some magazines about the King of the Road which I will share! Sort of regret throwing away a full set of carbs and a back wheel.
Stolen, so just photo of photo for now.

Do you have the correct numbers? The first 100 Z1 had matching Engine and Frame numbers

Hi SUPERHUNK
welcome to the club!
Show us some pictures as soon as you can, I'm very curious to see the details of that early bike.
What a find!

Yes pretty sure> however the MOT messed up by putting KZ1 instead of Z1 creating a lot of confusion! Are there any KZ serials?z2.john wrote:SUPERHUNK wrote:My 1973 orange and black bike has engine number Z1E 00073 and frame Z1F 00171

KZ refers to frames that were American made Z900’s from 1976 onwards.
