my 750 zephyr

anyone know where i can get a ''nice'' chrome front and rear guard?
wanting to bling it up a bit maybe polish the casings and fork legs too any tips would be great thanks

Into this.... At the time I did this I couldn't find a short chrome guard to fit the Zephyr so I used the Shorter version from a Z1 but as they are meant for the bigger Z1 wheel they needed to mounting holes 'elongating' a bit and even then the fit is pretty tight to the tyre...

Casings were machine polished but you can get the same by hand (just takes longer.) The grab rail is Alloy, so just strip the paint and polish, same goes for the chain guard. I also had the seat restyled in more of a period Two-Four look (below) and changed the rear shocks, again for the more Z1 look. Below is the original chain guard stripped and polished, also the front Z1 guard which looks great but as you can see is a little closer to the tyre than the original..

Thanks. I did contemplate going down the Z1 4x4 route to complete the look (like the Zeph below) but the costs would have been silly to buy and then adapt the pipes..
