My Z1000 ELR

#1 PostAuthor: Tony P » Sat Mar 27, 2021 11:03 am

Here is a pic of my Z1000 ELR brought it in Jan - its a UK bike with one owner until Jan with 29k miles, not many of those around!
Obviously originally white with 4:2 exhaust, previous owner painted her green and had a 4:1 motad fitted as he could not find a kerker at the time.
I managed to buy a new kerker which the bike deserves - happy days.
Kerker has a standard baffle which it runs well with but might try a competition baffle sometime.

Lovely ELR you have there, enjoy it!

Out of interest, what is the going rate for one in similar condition these days?

How did you find the fit? Just put one on mine and it was a absolute bastard. Took stud out as I thought that was bent then finally with force got it to fit only to find out it had to come off for the oil change. Was close to getting scrapped that day.
