Very nice. I'm just doing my Z1000j2 I'll be happy if it anywhere near this good. Well done for preserving another classic bike.

I'm buying a Z650 in similar condition, the chrome has me worried though, I'll have quite a bit more than you. Did you rechrome or replace?

No rechroming (except replacement folk stancions), I just used the old trick - toothpaste and fine wire wool. Note chrome headlight mounts from bro gray, standard ones are black and got his z1 Koni's too which are a direct fit.
