Re: Z1000 A1
It's a bit like me. Looks OK from a distance, but it gets worse the closer you get
There is a short term (get it on the road this summer), and a longer term list (next winter).
Short term. The A1 should have the calipers in front of the forks, so I will be swapping the forks around and changing fork oil whilst they are off. Every part of the brakes leak, so that's a full overhaul of calipers with new hoses. Engine full service, and replacement of a few leaking gaskets. New tyres (it has been standing for 25 years!).
Longer term. I have the original spoked wheels, but they look shabby, they will be going off for a rebuild. The clocks are not original and have been messed with. They will be getting changed. The paint needs doing on the tank, panels and tailpiece.
That's the plan, but as we all know, plans quickly fall apart

She does look nice and sharp in the photos mate, well earned. Those are Henry Abe wheels, worth a few quid to the right buyer, getting more and more rare.

Re: Z1000 A1
Just tried to find OS pipes. Apparently they went out of business at the end of January this year.
Any other suggestions would be gratefully received.

I understand he is still operational but only by referal.
Try Bazar de la becane in Dunkirk French France.
Member Moizue lives in France and may be able to assit/advise.
London exhausts in Holland do a Z1000 stainless repop.
Busso in Italy do a chrome repop but have a word with nigel at aire Valley classics before passing go and collecting £200.
Then there's our very own exhaust craft oooop norf.

Re: Z1000 A1
Thanks Warren.
I looked at the Frenchy option, but they warn of import duties and taxes post BREXIT.
I have some time to look around, so I will try some of the options you helpfully suggested.
