Hi Mark,
Lovely bike! The 4:4 pipes actually look pretty cool on the ST. What was the sound/performance like?
Happy to meet up one evening or weekend for a ride and a pint somewhere. I'll DM you with my number.

Hello Bert, hope all is well, just hoping you might have that old seat you swapped back for the original, hopefully getting another ST project..?

Nice ST you have there. I am a big fan of the 'runt' of the Zed family.
As has been noted, has some US spec parts.
Note that the USA bikes came with accelerator pump equipped carbs.
Also has emissions valves on the rocker cover which has pipes that feed back into the airbox. So that would a definitive way determine it's origin.

Bert wrote:Hi,
Just signed up to the club and thought I'd post a few pics of my Z1000st. 53K on the clock and a UK bike from new, stills rides like a champ and loving the Delkevic 4into1 which is crisp without being offensive. Had MKIIs back in the day and would love another one.
Looking for a standard seat if anyone has one to sell or trade? Absolutely any condition considered.
Cheers, Rob (Bert)

That's a really nice looking bike - enjoy.
