would say your throttle cables look a little too long and query the routing of the brake line near top yoke that bracket is where the throttle cables go but hey its absolutely stunning
heres my 72 still to fit the 4 x 4 pipes when i get time.

Now I wonder why they are that long. Is there an even higher/wider bar they are made for?

Lovely Z1 you have. I didn´t knew there were 72 Euro bikes, thought they all went to USA back then.

Have the throttle cables got 2 different part numbers on them, the correct items should be: 54012-087 and 54012-081.
There are longer items available but I believe they are pattern parts.

The plastic body looks longer than standard, like the cap isn’t screwed right home but I may be wrong??
Can someone else confirm!!
I will look at mine more closely at the weekend.

Steve

Absolutely

That cover was pretty firm, must have been in that position for a long time. I had to loosen it first.

Under the cap should be a black rubber gaiter type seal and the associated white plastic retainer between the seal and the underside of the cap.
All good on the master cylinder now!!
