Harris Magnum 2 Z1

#1 PostAuthor: SuffolkZ1r » Sun Mar 17, 2024 6:23 pm

Hi guy’s. Happy to finally get my Harris sorted after several months of fettling to resolve sprocket alignment thanks in the end to Talon. Now ready for the summer :D Not sure wether to loose the bikini fairing and replace with 2 chrome style street fighter type lights, what are your thoughts?
Also has fitted one of those Koso digital speedo thingy’s which I can’t seem to get working, seems to have a mind of its own!! Any ideas of replacement, I like the small chrome mini type , maybe mechanical?
Otherwise, well happy and looking forward to getting her out..

If it was my decision I’d leave the fairing on. It looks good but comes down to personal choice! :D

Stick a photo of the speedo on, I may have the fitting instructions/manual (got a new one still in the box) that I could photocopy if that's any use.

This is the speedo unit. It’s all connected up and lights up and flashes, seem to get a sort of rev counter working to a degree but can’t seem to find the speedo? It’s all a bit complicated for an old fart like me ! Also when you take off tank there is an absolute birds nest of wires underneath, too many for my liking which is why I think it’s best to change to something more simple . Cheers
