#1 PostAuthor: Big Fluff » Tue Oct 25, 2016 3:38 pm

Damn website's changed again.
Can anyone please 100% confirm the dates of next years Spa Classic bike races as I want to book the hotel now.
Pretty sure it's 30 June - 2 July but just want to confirm.
Thanks, guys, Will.

Spoke to Darin and he is unsure whether or not Classic bike track days will be going next year. So it looks like everyman for himself. I will be going hopefully and I will be booking my ferry etc next month.

Rob, keep me posted on what you decide. I'd like to go again subject to total costs. Let's talk about it when I see you at bike show.

The dates are always the first weekend of July.

Hands up who is going as if CBT are not going do we want to book a garage?

It will be about 1200+ euro each garage based on the prices from last year.

cbt normally charge us 100 euro each. on top of entries.

If I can get enough interest and the money up front I could try and book one.

And will contact some of the regulars who normally attend who are none z10c.

A garage makes it much more civilised.

Spoke to Rob at CBT today and asked them to confirm if they are doing it or not and they will confirm before the end of the year.
(Entries dont become available till January)

If they decide not to then I think we have enough takers. So i'll keep you posted.

update

#10 PostAuthor: KWACKERZ1 » Sat Jan 14, 2017 1:16 pm

Yes entries are available now through the website.
I spoke with Darin of CBT to confirm if they are going to do it again but they are sorting a few things out as the Autosport show this wek tends to be wheer all dates and calendars etc are finalised.

He said he'll contact the belgium guys (as he has not heard anything) but CBT will probably not have 3 garages this year as it was to expensive and they have donnington to organise.
He will confirm next week hopefully if they are going to do Spa but either way have agreed to help us organise something.

If they decide not to go this year I will book a garage myself as we already have 9 people confirmed they want to go and Garages are 1200euro so i am sure we can split the costs.

Give me a week and I'll let you know when I get an update.

Hi all CBT are organising Spa this year and are awaiting a response from the organisers but essentially will have two garages. (So less spaces than this year)

I have copied everyone on email for those that have confirmed they are coming and have 10 people so far.

Roll on June!!
