I am booked into the Nolimits day at Rockingham on the 15th April, for a test run out before donington.
Myself and a Paul on his cb900 are going but it is a general trackday rather than a classic, but if anyone wants to join us its £129 for the day with a 104db limit.
I have not ridden the international circuit only the national one and to be honest I quite like Rockingham (I know some dont)
But,
its local to me and
you always get garage space and
Its a Saturday!!
and its a 100 times better than Mallory IMHO

Re: Rockingham International
Had a great day out on track on the zx7r it was blooming cold in the paddock but it was dry and bright.
My mate crashed his 400/4 but was ok and carried on, riding his cb900.
Brian attended on his FJ11 Reporting, should be more reliabel than the 1100r but still spent all day tinkering.
He was going well though.
Good day out and as its 20 minutes from home, I'll probably do more of these saturdays.

Sorry but...

Chris
No time for pics to busy trying to keep warm and ride.
Loads of pics on peter wildeman site. though.
Al not sure why Paul binned it loads of people struggled on the right hander where he crashed and a few went down so could have been coolant or just cold tarmac (1st right hander)
But he was ok so all good (although his wife thinks we are getting to old for all this stuff.)
She could be right !!

You know my thoughts on the circuit, could not pay me to go there. That corner sums it up for me; 'not fit for purpose' and they are taking chances with peoples' health and wellbeing not to mention the hundreds of smashed bikes and all that that entails. Should be closed to bikes 'till they fix it!

Re: Rockingham International
I had a great day and good to meet those who were there. I drove there the night before in constant rain but luckily the day was dry.
All tracks will have a first left hander after lots of rights, or as Rockingham International is anti clockwise, a right hander - at least this is fairly slow one.
Even Motogp riders get caught out by a first left after many rights (isn't this what happened to both Rossi and Stoner when they broke a leg?)
The day before had been really cold and there had been a few crashes on this first right hander and I think there was a bit on coolant on a tiny section of the corner.
I find it a very grippy track in the dry, but a bit dodgy in the wet. It was a lot more bumpy than I remember though (not been there for about eight years), though that could be the bike - I've sent the rear shock for rebuild as it was already maxed out on damping.
Roll on Donington.
