No Rob. Going to take the Bimota. See how it performs after all the money spent at PDQ last year. Can't really do it justice on the road.

Enjoy Spa btw!

PS booked Motorcycle Live tickets earlier for 25th November

Here's a video of me on one of the sessions in lower group. Camera positioning was not great as i attached to crash bung on the left frame rail. I was riding a Bimota SB6R so being very restrained; falling off this and damaging unobtainable bodywork does not bear thinking about. I really enjoyed my day though. The massive power and torque of the 1100 GSXr motor makes riding this so much fun. Just roll on the throttle and it pulls like a train. Rockingham is very short so limited opportunities to really let it go but coming round the banked section it was hitting 130mph before having to brake. At one point you can hear the back wheel chattering as it is bouncing under hard braking before the sharp left hander on to the infield circuit.

I reckon an investment in servicing both front and rear suspension would see an awesome machine but a) where do you stop spending and b) will this ever become my staple track day ride? I really don't think so.
