I'm guessing that this is what Google Streetview is showing as "The Grand Union" as the buildings look identical to the current pub website. I can't see the car park...anyone know where it is?

Picked up the H2 on Tuesday. Had a run from Watford to Stevenage which was "quite interesting" (trying to keep it below 4000rpm for the first 500mls). Had to get used to the totally different riding position (my chin is almost over the bars), and the throttle (quite frisky!). Decided to go out in the afternoon down to J&S clothing near St Albans to buy a one-piece lightweight rainsuit. Got caught in a thunderstorm/hailstorm just after passing Jcn 21 on the M25 so had 5 odd miles to go to J22 where I was turning off. Got absolutely saturated with water running down the back of my new leathers, into my boots, gloves sopping wet etc. Interesting experience trying to control 200 odd bhp in 1st with a tricksy throttle at 20mph in 30yds visibility with the knobheads still passing at 60-80mph. Bike was absolutely covered in road grime, mud and shit and I only got back from Bath last night, so am about to pop out to clean it.

ZZR gets picked up tomorrow afternoon by the new owner (an ex-copper just retired!) but I hope to see y'all tomorrow.

Ride safe

Can't make this one as I have started the brake conversion and found another sheared SS bolt which is taking an age to drill out
