Looks a good starting point yer got there TLC :up
As Redbeard said Zephyr wheels are sumwhat similar (5 spoke) or alternatively have you considered CBR600 /900 17" wheels (6 spoke) both options will be easier on the pocket than the OZ wheels?
Think the early Blades had 43mm RWU forks - but a 16" front wheel.

I'm using 43mm Triumph T595 509 RWU forks, They're Showa and I had them on my Spondon Fireblade, they are flippin' great forks and are very good quality
I'd rather be riding my Z1 thinking about God than sitting in a church thinking about my Z1..

Thanks for the suggestion Spondon.

One question I have is about length and will these be about the same as stock with the 17" wheel. IE ground clearance.

I have looked at XJR, ZRX and ZXR9 but have the same question with all of these.

The best ones I have seen fitted are from the CB1000 big one, right length look great and you may be able to fit a swingarm from the same bike.

Hi Chris, yes they are shorter with the standard 17" wheel..I like that kind of look, and steering angle..... it's a bit similar to the Racefit Z1 which actually has a 16" front wheel I think

If you are going with smaller wheels, I have a set of longer USD forks...
as can be seen in the backgound here...

Chris, I think you are right to stick with RWU forks, they do look better imo. That being said, I'm using upside downies on my next one but that's only because I need to use the ones I have.
