Can't remember Mikey, either Z1-Enterprises or American classix. I might try one from Z-power as I'm not too happy with the fit of the one I have anyway, I had to wrestle it on.

I think the grabrail will drive you mad....... I'd buy another & stick the 'angular' one on ebay, there's every chance you'll make a profit!
Nice to see some progress though.

Simon,
Have you managed to get much done during your two weeks 'home alone' :?

Not as much as hoped, still hung up with the rear wheel spacer conundrum. The bearing in the hub on the sprocket carrier side seems to sit too deep which gives a bit of play in the spacer that sits in the bearing in the sprocket carrier. I bought a complete spindle off ebay with all the spacers so hope to get it sorted tomorrow. I also ordered a blind bearing puller from a store on Ebay but they didn't have it in stock so I cancelled that and ordered another one which still hasn't turned up so pretty frustrating really.

I ordered some plastics from Jerry and been down to see Tim the painter who is going to do some test panels for me so I can decide on a final colour scheme. Sent my downpipes to Dave at Exhaustcraft to match them up with a new end can. Oh and sent clocks off to Al Marshall today. Lots of messing and prep but not a great deal to show for it.

Thanks Steve, the problem is really knowing what I need as the ones that came out didn't match up with any of the diagrams I have and the new ones don't seem to take up the slack. What I really need is another Z1b rear wheel to take apart and compare, failing that it will be a bit of improvisation. Not the end of the world by any means.

A perfect day. Water fights in the garden with kids and grand-daughters, beer and BBQ, then start up the Zed with carbs fresh back from Martin (ProwlerZ!) who kindly fixed the leaks and set them up. Runs lovely now so MOT next week and hopefully put a few miles on over the Summer :D

Thanks to Padders for your help as well

Oh, heres another video......

Sounds excellent Simon...... You must be 'well chuffed'.

Sadly though, I didn't find this video as entertaining as the original. :??
